Drema Maria Brown

Drema Maria Brown (Tina), 64 of Bluefield wv. Born June 24, 1961. Drema left her earthly body December 25, 2025. And gained her heavenly wings. To be free from pain and rejoice with loved ones who have gone before her. Drema was the daughter of the late Dorothy and George Brown. Drema graduated from Mercer County School. She worked as a cna in hickory nc. Also worked at the maples nursing home in Blfd wv for years. Drema loved laughing, friends, and having fun with her family. And her dog(Bella). And if you know Drema, you know she loved to walk. In addition to her parents. She was proceeded in death by two sisters. Roslyn j. Powell and Ruth Barney/ Cooke. One brother George Brown(Ned). One niece Maria Barney, one brother in law Jackson Carey. Left to cherish memories. Sister Gloria Carey of hickory nc. Keith Powell jr(son) of Blfd wv. Four nieces Bridgett/Roslyn Powell of Blfd wv. Shantae Jones of hickory nc. Tenisha Carey of Blfd wv. Sylvia Brown of charlotte nc. Eight nephews, Heath Powell of Petersburg Va. Keith Powell sr. of Blfd wv. Johnathan Carey of Blfd wv. Ellis Jones of Newark New Jersey. Carlos Brown on Roanoke Va. Anthony and Harry Barney (jr) of Blfd wv. William De’grate of Charlotte nc. A host of grandkids, great nephew, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Courtney Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery in Tip Top, VA.

Friends may call prior to services on Sunday, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
