Dr. Daniel L. Sadler

Dr. Daniel L. Sadler, 61, of Bedminster, New Jersey, passed way May 19, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey.

 

He was born in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Rev. William L. Sadler and Mary Ellen Aust Sadler.

 

Dr. Sadler was a graduate of Bluefield High School and the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residence at the Charleston Area Medical Center and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the University of Medicine & Dentistry, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

 

At the time of his death, Dr. Sadler was a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon practicing at Central Jersey Colon and Rectal in Bridgewater, NJ. Dr. Sadler showed the highest level of compassion and commitment to his patients and will be missed by many.

 

He is survived by his children: William David Sadler, Nassau, New York; Joshua Daniel Sadler (U.S.N.), Virginia Beach, VA; and Sarah Elizabeth Sadler, Richmond, VA. He is survived by his siblings: Barbara Vance (Samuel), Bluefield, WV; Judge William Sadler (Barbara), Princeton, WV; and Faith Woodrum (James), Hurricane, WV. He is also remembered by Laura Abbey, Wytheville, VA, his former wife and mother of his children.

 

The family will hold a private service and burial.  Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, Bluefield, WV is in charge of the funeral arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.cravens-shires.com.
