Douglas Joe Walker

Douglas Joe Walker, 67, of Bluefield, WV, formerly of Big Four, WV, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026 at WVU Princeton Community Hospital Bluefield ER. Born January 25, 1959 in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Robert and Lady Pauline Walker. Doug was affiliated with the Eckman Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Walker.

Those left to cherish Doug's memory are his sons, Mike Walker and wife, Bridgett of Oceana, WV, and Josh Walker of Bluefield WV; daughters, Molina Roberts and husband, Stanley of Welch, WV, and Amanda Green and fiancé, Kenneth Wright of Bluefield, WV; brother, Danny Walker of Pageton, WV; special family members, Lillian Walker and Judy Pedraza; 13 grandchildren: Alexis Roberts and Brandon Denton; Amelia Muscari, Avery Walker, Sutton Walker and Tyson Walker; Nathan and Destiny Green, Hannah and Dustin Whitaker, and Elisha Green; Larry McInturff, Jason McInturff, Matthew Walker and Isabella Walker; 7 great grandchildren: Drake, Kayden, Allison, Amelia and Oaklynn, Connor and Skylar.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery in Kimball, WV where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
