Dorothy May White

Dorothy M. Mullins White, 91, of Brushfork, WV went to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Born on May 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Drewery and Pearlie Mullins Mullins. Dorothy was a member of the Bluewell Church of God as a daughter of Christ. She loved the Lord and her faith was unmatched. Dorothy's teachings and guidance blessed so many lives. Dorothy was our greatest prayer warrior.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Sam White; two sons, Sam White, Jr. and Dallas White; daughter, Phyllis Thomas; two granddaughters, Hope and Ginger as well as many others that were dear to her heart.

Those who are left to cherish Dorothy's memory are two daughters, Joyce and Dewayne Houk and Freda Bolen; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer and Gladys Mullins; sister, Lucy Hicks; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2025 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Houk and Rev. John Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Top Family Cemetery in Bramwell, WV where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the White family.
