Dorothy Lee Martin

Dorothy Lee Martin, 65, of Red Oak Ridge Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at her home.

Born on October 22, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Neal and Joyce Lee Strong Martin. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special friend and caregiver who was like family, Kevin "Boyfriend" Harvey.

Survivors include her special caregivers, who were her family, Martha Faye Blizzard, Kim “Granny” Norton, Amanda “Paw Paw” Wright and Matt “Sonny”, Riqui “Buddy” Leggett Belphine Francisco, Brooke Serra, and Kay Edwards; and several cousins. The family is also appreciative of the care given by Dr. Marshall Long, & Jewel Woodson, Hospice Compassus, and the Council on Aging (Samantha McKinney and Gina Riffe).

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Sam Walsh officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where  Matt Wright, John Norton, Andrew Semonco, Jimmy Blankenship, Tyler Blankenship, and Abb Bailey will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Thursday, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
