Dorothy Hazeltine Harman

Dorothy Hazeltine Harman, 96, of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on October 10, 1925 in Pocahontas county, WV, she was a daughter of the late William and Billie Bogle. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a member of the Smith Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Harman, Jr.; and a son, John M. Harman, III. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Elsie Louise Bassett of Lindside, WV; 5 grandchildren, Shannon Bowman and wife Brittany of Lindside, WV, Keith Bowman and wife Stacy of WA, Brian Bowman and wife Ginger of NC, Tonya and Larry of Glenwood, John Harman, IV of Princeton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Donnie Dinger officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Friday, from 1:00-2:00 PM.
