Dorothy Louise Bailey

Dorothy “Louise” Bailey, 79, of Bluefield, WV passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Princeton Bluefield Regional E.R. Born November 21, 1942 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Horton and Mary Marie Lynch Horton. She was a life long resident of Bluefield and a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ and attended Falls Mills Christian Church. She received an award for her many years of Church ministry at Pine Grove. She had worked for Lynn’s Drive-In, Kroger in Princeton, and eighteen years for the Nick Ameli U.S. Post Office in Bluewell.

Survivors include her husband Samuel L. Bailey of the home; several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM. We will go to the cemetery in procession. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Bailey family.
