Doris Jean Shrader

Doris Jean Shrader, 68, of Princeton, WV, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital. Doris was a resident of Princeton for fifty years, was of the Baptist faith, and had been employed by Princeton Community Hospital Central Sterile for forty-five years. Born August 3, 1953 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Minnie Fagg Shrader. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Shrader; and fiancé, Richard Tolbert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her cousins, Jackie Nunn and husband, Bobby, Ronnie Harless and wife, Carolyn, Tom Harless and wife, Judy, all of Bluefield, WV, and Melinda Hull of Ohio; best friend, Linda Prescott of Princeton, WV; and her faithful dog, Rollo.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, September 27, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hagerman, Rev. Emory Marchant, and Rev. Sam Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
