Dennis Johnson

Dennis Early Johnson, 41, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born on February 24, 1982, in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Junior Early Johnson and Francis Merritt Johnson. He was a member of the Green Valley-Glenwood Fire Dept. and had lived in Bluefield for 5 years. He was a construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Miller Johnson of the home; 2 sons, Zachary Lee Adkins of Marion, VA and Dakota Adkins of Bluefield, WV, 1 grandchild, Harper Mae Adkins; brothers Charles McCoy Jerry Lee McCoy Jimmy McCoy sister Darlene Johnson several siblings on his father side & several nieces and nephews. He was a great husband father & friend.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 4:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Chaplain Gerald Roberts of the Green Valley-Glenwood Fire Dept. officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to services, from 3:00-4:00 PM at the funeral home.
