Deborah Sue Sheppard

Deborah Sue Sheppard, 72, of Bluefield, WV passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. Born November 2, 1951 in Whitesville, WV, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Jean Flint.

Those left to cherish Deborah’s memory are her husband of 36 years, Gerald L. Sheppard who knew her as “Peach”; son, Christopher Massey; daughter, Kelli Childers and husband, James of Princeton, WV; grandchildren, Caeli Massey, Hannah Childers, Juleigh Childers, Neko Heaton, Daniel Bowden, Joey Childers, Jessica Childers, Kayla Paxton; 19 great-grandchildren who knew her as “crazy granny”; and a host of other family members also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, April 8, 2024 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Pennington officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Sheppard family.
