David Lee Reece

David Lee Reece, 70, of Havaco, WV passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Born July 12, 1956 in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Thomas and Virginia Stuart Reece. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia.

Those left to cherish David's memory are his three children, Brandon Reece of Princeton, WV, Caitlyn Lewis and husband, Cody of Bluefield, WV, and Amanda Derequito; wife (baby mama), Eugenia Reece; brother, Darrell Reece and wife, Cheryl of Winchester, WV; and one granddaughter, Keliana; also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews he loved very much, and many other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2026 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Rhodena Hatfield officiating and the Mercer County Veteran's Honor Guard will conduct military honors. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

There will be no public visitation.
