David Farrell Persianni, Sr.

David Farrell Persianni, Sr., 69, of Crumpler Mountain,  Northfork, WV, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

Born on September 28, 1952 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Elmer and Zona Elizabeth Mullins Persianni. He was a retired coal miner for 32 years and was a member of the UMWA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse and Darrell Persianni.

Left to cherish his memories include his wife Shirley Lusk Persianni of the home; a son, David (Marie) Persianni, Jr. of Crumpler; daughter, Angela Persianni Fowler of Bluefield, WV; three grandsons, Dakota Fowler, Dalton Fowler and Allen Carter; and several nieces, nephews aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Ralph Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Joe Oneal, Dakota Fowler, Kolton Roberts, Chris Moorse, Timmy Persianni and Mathew Lusk serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Thursday, from 1:00-2:00, at the funeral home.
