David James Peaks

David James Peaks 64 departed this world Thursday April 21, 2022 to join the Lord and reunite with his Heavenly family.

David was born May 5, 1958 in Welch, WV.   He worked at Lambert’s Construction Company, where he thrived. David didn’t require much, he was a simple man, that loved his family. He was so proud of his Grandkids, always planning for and anticipating their visits.  David loved people and they were drawn to him, his smile, his gentle personality and contagious laugh. He was a humble man, giving of his talents to anyone in need. He was Loved.  He was preceded In death by his mother Edith Mae Peaks, his wife Diane, Brother, Harold Peaks, Sister, Irene Osborne and special Love Debbie Krunyou.  Left to cherish his memory is his daughter , Tonya Blankenship ( Danny).  Son , Kenny (Shawna),Stepson Edward ( Denise ) Grandchildren include ; Daniel, Jr , and Willow.  Great Grandchildren Annabel, Corbin, Brandon , and Braeleigh of Corinne , WV. Nine in total. Brothers , Don ( Lucy) Peaks of Indiana, Jimmy Peaks of Virginia Beach , Ronnie Peaks of Kansas. Sisters , Connie Perry of Shawsville, Brenda Jackson of Tazewell VA, and Alice Bales of Welch Wv.  

A celebration of life will be held on Monday May 2nd at Bible Baptist Church located at 1809 Vinyard Street, Bluefield WV.  Pastor Steve Umberger will be officiating. Friends may visit at 5:00 PM.
