David Andrew Hensley

David Andrew Hensley, 58, of Bluefield, WV passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at his home.  Born November 14, 1962 in Cleveland, OH, he was a son of the late James and Joann Layne Hensley. He was a resident of Bluefield for 36 years. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by brothers, Roger Hensley and James Hensley. He was a true Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan.

Those left to Cherish David’s memory are his wife, Drema Hensley of Bluefield, WV; son, Jeremy Hensley of Bluefield, WV; daughters, Chasity Hensley-Myers and husband, Eric of Montcalm, WV, and Kimmy Moore of Jackson, OH; brothers, Michael Hensley of Gastonia, NC, Gary Hensley of Cartage, TN, and Danny Hensley of Cherryville, NC; sisters, Dolores Metz of Vinton, OH, and Debbie Daft of Albany, OH; special sister-in-law, Pam Belcher; and 5 grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Roger Moore, III, Damian Akers, Alyx Hensley, Misty Moore, and Andrew Hensley; his loving dog Lexy; special nephew, Jason Turner; and loved by many nieces and nephews.  The family wishes to thank David’s special hospice nurses, Amanda and Megan.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Chaplain David Hersey officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
