Cleatis Earl Morgan

Cleatis Earl Morgan, 79, of Sandlick Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on July 11, 1942 in Wolf Pen, WV, he was a son of the late Cleatis Raymond and Yvonne Workman Morgan. He had been a resident of Bluefield for 13 years and was a retired coal miner from US Steel. He was a veteran of the US Army. He had his own band, Mountain Man Band, loved the outdoors, riding ATV’s, and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Trent.

Survivors include his sons, Randall David Morgan of Summerville, SC and Dwayne Earl Morgan of Summerville, SC; companion, Nancy Privett of Bluefield, WV; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 7:00 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Brother Kenny officiating. Friends may call prior to services, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
