Christopher Lont'e Watkins

Christopher Lont’e Watkins, 27, of Bluefield, WV passed away Friday, May 27, 2022. Born June 10, 1994 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Gary and Karen Dianne Gilley Watkins. Chris worked as a sandblaster for Eastern Tank and Utilities. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Othelia Esters and Mose Holley; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Gilley; aunt, Ladonna Holley; and uncle, Paul Gilley; and aunt Laverne Watkins Greer.

Those left to cherish Christopher’s memory are his parents, Gary and Karen Watkins of Bluefield, WV; sister, Christina Gilley of Bluefield, WV; brother, Rashaun Watkins, of TN; godmother, Tyeisha Hairston; aunt, Laura Workman, great-aunts, Ollie Allen and Alice Mae Johnson; aunts, Renita Hairston, Sharon Neal, Tina Watkins Young, Debra Hale; uncles, Thomas Watkins, Robert Watkins, Darrell Allen, Jerome Watkins, and Larry Holley; special nephew, Damontae Craighead; and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Watkins family.
