Christopher Wayne Smith

Christopher Wayne Smith, 51, of Frederick Court, Princeton, WV, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at his home with his wife and children by his side.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wallace and Dot Smith and maternal grandparents, L.B. and Irma Cook.

Born on October 1, 1970 in Pontiac, MI, he was a son of Darrel and Pat Smith or Ortonville, MI; wife, Hope Dailey Smith of the home; children, Layla and Bentley Smith of the home; son, Lewis (Alicia) Smith of Hickory, NC; brother, Paul (Wendi) Smith of WV; in-laws,  Pamela and Joe Dailey and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Denver Riffe officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Thursday, prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
