Charlie Ray Dalton

Charlie Ray Dalton, 78, of Crumpler, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at his home.

Born on March 7, 1944 in Crumpler, he was a son of the late Charlie and Nancy Bailey Dalton.  He was a lifelong resident of Crumpler and will be missed by the community and will be remembered for his faithfulness to his church.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Maynard, Donald, Preston, and Richard Dalton; and a sister, Lola Coppage.

Survivors include sisters, Clara Leona Dalton of Crumpler and Clara Bailey of Chesapeake, VA; his brother, Frankie Dalton of Crumpler; and two sisters in law, Dorothy Hall Dalton and Wilma Dalton

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Robert Huddler and Rev. Mark Smearman officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services, from 11:00-12:00 at the funeral home.
