Charles William Martin

Charles William Martin, 57, of Premier, WV, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at his residence. Born June 10, 1964 in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Charles Walker and late Grace Burbott Martin. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his step-father, Jess Martin; sister, Judith Stout; and brother, Jessie Martin.  Charles was a resident of Premier for 15 years and was a retired Press Operator for the Welch News.

Those left to cherish Charles’ memory are his wife, Diana Mullins Martin of the home; daughter, Lyndsey Martin and fiancé, Austin Ratliff of Blue River, KY; brothers, Larry Martin, Sr. of Premier, WV, and Steve Martin of Hinton, WV; sisters, Mary Shandor of IA, Rhonda Martin of Princeton, WV, and Diana Hopkins of Princeton, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. J.B. Robinette officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
