Charles Martin Garrison

Charles Martin Garrison, born on January 1, 1972, in Bluefield, West Virginia and a graduate of Bluefield High School, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, at Bowers Hospice House at the age of 54.

Charles was the son of the late Harry and Lydia Garrison, who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his brothers Billy Garrison, Charles Perry, and Johnny Davis as well as his sister Marlena Moye.

He is survived by his sisters, Thelma Coeburn of Bluefield, Susan Perry of North Carolina, Amy Hanshaw of Bluefield, WV, and April Bryant of Montcalm, WV, as well as his brothers Harry Perry of Bluefield, Eddie Perry of Bluefield, Larry Garrison of North Carolina, and Chuckie Perry of Bluefield. Charles’s life will be commemorated with a public visitation at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, located at 3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, WV, on July 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Paul Delida Officiating, and where friends and loved ones may gather to honor his memory. Following the funeral there will be a burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Garrison family.
