Cecile Arnetta Davidson

Cecile Arnetta Davidson, 89, Bluefield, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home.  Born September 12, 1930 in Bluefield, Cecile was a daughter of the late Cecil and Lydia Carroll.  She served alongside her husband in the mission field in Peru and Bolivia, South America for thirty-seven years.  In addition to her parents, Cecile was preceded in death by two brothers, Thornton and Fred Carroll; and a son-in-law, Robert Torres.

Those left to cherish Cecile’s memory are her husband of seventy-two years and former pastor  of Calvary Baptist Church and Riverside Baptist Church, Rev. James B. Davidson; son, James Phillip Davidson and wife, Marucha, of St. Louis, MO; three daughters, Deborah Davidson of Bluefield, WV, Lynda Torres of Peru, South America, and Pam Fowler  and husband, Don, of Apex, North Carolina; two sisters, Nancy Yatabe of Chicago, IL, and Libby Heath and husband, Howard, of Cleveland, OH; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
