Cathi Lynne Ellison

Cathi Lynne Ellison, 59, of Wytheville, VA, and formerly of Pisgah Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at her home.

Born on August 18, 1960 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of Mildred Yvonne Bowyer Barnette of Princeton and the late Roger Wayne Surface.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bud Bowyer, Irene Bowyer Austin and G.R. and Ethel Surface.

In addition to her mother she is survived by a son, Alexander Shane Ellison of Hinton, WV; a daughter, Taylor Hanna Black of Wytheville, VA;  2 grandchildren, Avery Lynne Fuller, River Scott Fuller; brothers, Joey Wayne Surface of Princeton, WV, and Duane Surface of Sinks Grove, WV; and a sister, Pamela Goode of Cornelius, NC.

At her request, she will be cremated with no services.
