Carol Jean Coeburn

December 28, 1943 — April 21, 2022

Carol Jean Coeburn, 78, of Montcalm, WV, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Born December 28, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Dollie Pennington Lusk. Carol was a parts runner for Lusk Disposal and was a member of Deliverance Temple Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Allen Howerton; brothers, Buddie Lusk, Danny Lusk, Gordon Lusk, Johnny Lusk; and Dennis Lusk; niece, Shannon Sexton, and nephew, Mark Faulkner. 

Those left to cherish Carol’s memory are her husband, Robert Coeburn of the home; children, Keith Howerton and fiancé, Pamela Littlefield of the home, Tonya Gentle and fiancé, Billy, Tina Mabe and husband, David, Hope Poole and husband, Paul; siblings, David Lusk and wife, Donna, Rex Lusk and lifelong companion, Barbara, Marlene Faulkner and husband, Richard, Doris Sexton and husband, Paul, and Brian Lusk and wife, Dana; grandchildren, Scottie Mabe and wife, Alisha, Lexi Gentle, and Cadence Gentle; other grandkids that she claimed as her own, Nicholas Jones and Adrianna Holleman.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Deliverance Temple Church with Pastor David Kirby and Pastor David Lusk officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
