Bruce Steven Sigmon

Bruce “Steven” Sigmon, 69, of Frederick Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday September 19, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on April 16, 1952 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Kermit Thirl and Hazel Hess Sigmon. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a graduate of Bluefield High School and was retired from Mercer County Board of Education. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Gail Thomason.

Survivors include his brothers, Barry Sigmon of Pulaski, VA and Rodney (Donna) Sigmon of Bluefield; and Nephews, Barry Sigmon, Jr., David Thomason and Matthew Hartley.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dennis Sigmon officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

Friends may call on Wednesday prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
