Brandon John Pitts, affectionately known as "Graham Cracker," was born on August 25, 1995, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His journey came to an untimely conclusion on December 12, 2024, in Bluefield, West Virginia, leaving shadows of memories that will dance in the hearts of those who knew him.
An excellent short-order cook and a skilled detailer at both Cole Chevrolet and Cole Auto Mall, Brandon was a diligent worker, often laboring even when illness crept into his days. He possessed an unparalleled resourcefulness that allowed him to meet challenges head-on, showcasing bravery that many would shy away from. Homeschooling shaped him into a thoughtful and introspective young man, reflected in his quiet demeanor and profound respect for others.
Family was the cornerstone of Brandon's life. He could recall where everything was, always ready to assist in the search for lost treasures. The bonds he shared with his loved ones stood as a testimony to his character; a loving brother and a devoted son, he cherished the moments spent together. His eldest brother, Frank Provencher, along with Frank's wife Kacie and their son Caden, along with his brothers Kevin Pitts, Joshua Long, and sister Brittany Long, remain to honor his spirit. Together, they still hear his gentle whispers of love echoing through their lives.
Brandon captivated the world with his hobbies and interests, embracing the thrill of risk-taking as he explored the outdoors—fishing, traversing the woods, and reveling in the simple joys of life away from bustling distractions. An enthusiast of all things vehicles, his collection of knives and passion for jeeps and diesel trucks reflected his adventurous spirit. Yet, he understood that his favorite things could not be captured within material bounds; they lived in the experiences gained and the people met along his path.
As profound as his contributions to family life were his proudest accomplishments, which included defying every odd stacked against him. He shattered expectations, paving a way for an indomitable spirit that inspired many. Brandon was opinionated and outspoken, a beacon of truth in a sometimes murky world, and his bravery propelled him to pursue new experiences with gusto.
Though he departed surrounded by the comforting embrace of family and friends, he leaves behind cherished memories of those who have passed on—his grandparents, Anthony and Mary Garofalo, his great grandmothers Mary Garofalo and Mary Santa Donato, his biological mother Barbara Pitts, and his dear friend and surrogate mother Pam Blu. They surely welcome him to the next adventure, where new stories await to be written in the stars.
Gone too soon, Brandon John Pitts remains etched in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to grace his life, embodying kindness, respect, and an unwavering zest for exploration. May the woods echo with laughter, the lakes shimmer with joy, and the skies hold stories of a brave heart that dared to love and live fully. Rest gently, dear Brandon; your light will forever shine bright in the hearts you've touched.
