Bonnie Lou Wilson

Bonnie Lou Wilson, 61, of Vivian, WV departed this life Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by family after a long illness. Born June 4, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Iva Lane. Bonnie devoted her life to being a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she brought joy and smiles to all who knew her. Bonnie was a loving mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and grandmother to her special babies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Lane, sisters, Martha Lane and two infant sisters; two nieces, Tessa and Brittney Lane; nephew, Michael Lane.

She is survived by her loving companion and caretaker, Clarence (Gene) Byrd, loving brother, Charles E. Lane, sister-in-law, Connie Lane, all of Vivian, WV; daughters, Marlena and Teresa Lane of Bradshaw, WV; nieces, Jennifer (Thomas) Church of Vivian, WV and Kayla (Amillio) Blevins of Avondale, WV; nephew, Adam (Alice) Lane of Vivian, WV; special grandbabies, Brittney, Kristen, Jacob, Chase, Parker, Malachi, and Katelyn; and one special great-grandchild, Greyson.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Angela Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow at the Jarrett Family Cemetery in Eckman, WV where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Wilson family.
