Bonnie Eleanor Belcher

  Bonnie Eleanor Murphy Belcher, 74, of Bluewell, WV, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at Mercer Health and Rehab. Born February 2, 1951 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Bascom and Ruby Tabor Murphy. Bonnie was of the Methodist faith and loved the lord.  She graduated from Bluefield High School . Earlier in her life she worked for Heck's Dept. Store . Bonnie also worked many years as a cook for Mercer County Headstart and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband ,Robert Lane Belcher, daughter, Theresa Helton and brother Thomas Murphy.

There was definitely a heavenly reunion on the 23rd! it got a little more fiesty !

 Those left to cherish Bonnie's memory are her son, Stephen Belcher of Knoxville, TN, Grandchildren; Garrett Belcher(Sarah), Delayni Belcher, Austin Pendleton (Georgia), Christian Pendleton , 6 great grandchildren, son-in-law; Randy Helton( the late Theresa Helton), brother; Charles Murphy of Princeton, WV., and her beloved little dog Hannah Bear.                                                          She also enjoyed the company of many more family members from her beloved husbands family which is a big family , her Murphy family & those who joined into these families and friends shes met along the way over the years. 

The will be no public services. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Belcher family.

In leiu of flowers there is a fund for Bonnie set up for which monitery donations can be made directly to the funeral home at  304-589-3860 to offset costs,  per the family wishes.
