Bobby Michael Proffitt, Sr., 68 of Bluefield, West Virginia died on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at his home.
Born Sunday, October 9, 1955 in Bluefield, West Virginia, he was a son of the late John Melvin and Lillian Thelma Shrader Proffitt. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluewell and attended the Edgemont Baptists Church and Sandlick Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Proffitt and a brothers, Troy and Jerry Proffitt.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Lynn Jones Proffitt; sons, John Proffitt and Eddie Wood; daughters, Rose Wood, Heather Proffitt, Jessica (Matthew) Farley, Crystal (Lacey) Graham; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Doug Proffitt and sisters, Linda Sadler, Brenda Pebbles, and Sally Dempsey.
Friends may call from 11:00AM-2:00 PM Saturday at Edgemont Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Roberts and Chaplain C.T.Lilly officiating.
