Bobby Joe Jennings

Bobby Joe Jennings, Sr., 70, of Montcalm, WV, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital.  Born May 16, 1951, he was a son of Florabelle Pennington Jennings and the late Albert Jennings. Bobby had been a resident of Montcalm since 1997 and was a General Superintendent building tunnels and bridges for over 40 years. Bobby loved his children and grandchildren and all his family more than anything. He was the kindest man you would ever meet. He had a great sense of humor and would give you the shirt off his back. In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by the love of his life of 30 years, Debbie Sue Mock Jennings; brother, Mike Jennings; and sister, Connie Haynes.

Those left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his mother, Flo Jennings and companion, Joe Vasvary of Montcalm, WV; sons, Bobby Joe Jennings, Jr. of Salem, VA, Daniel Jennings and wife, Sandra of Salem, VA, Jason Jennings and Bethany Dalton of Montcalm, WV; daughter, Julie Jennings and Nick Iatauro of Montcalm, WV; brothers, Donnie Jennings and wife, Donna of MD, and Randy Jennings and wife, Susan of Athens, WV; special cousin and friend, Freddy Pennington; grandchildren, Alexis, Ryan, Grayson, Jacob, Justin, Josh, Melody, Ashley, and Abby.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Willard Ramsey officiating.  Interment will be at Stafford Memorial Cemetery in Stafford, VA.  Friends may call from 1:00 PM until the time of service.  Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Jennings family.
