Billie Sue Davidson

September 1, 1940 — March 14, 2021

Billie Sue Davidson of Bluefield, VA passed away peacefully at Princeton Community Hospital Sunday March 14, 2021 with her son by her side.

 

Born in Horsepen VA, the daughter of the late Lewis J and Sally Gillespie Patrick. She was a member of the Horsepen Church of Christ and a graduate of Graham High School. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years and the love of her life, Earl L Davidson, sisters and brothers in law: Freda and Bill Taylor, Vivian and JD Atwell and Ernest Bowman.  

 

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Richard Patrick Davidson, sister Sandra Bowman and brother Cecil Lowell Patrick and wife Betty Patrick. Special nieces and nephews Joseph Atwell and wife Kathy, Mark Taylor and wife Loren, Charles Bowman and wife Amy, Becky Bowman, Devon Taylor, Alex and Emily Bowman along with many special friends and neighbors. Billie Sue and Earl lived most of their life in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she was employed by Guilford Mills. 

 

Funeral services to celebrate Billie Sue’s life will be held on Tuesday March 16 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Ron Tabor officiating the services.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  

 

Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
