Betty Sue Taylor

Betty Sue Taylor, 88, of Montcalm, WV, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at home with her children by her side, She was born in Letcher county , Kentucky, on September 22, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ogie Morris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Taylor, son, Randy Taylor, and 5 brothers, Jim Morris, Joe Morris, Dale Morris, Vinyard Morris, and Daryl Ray Morris.

Betty is survived by her children, Debbie Taylor of Bluefield WV, Dwayne Taylor (Kim) of Montcalm WV, Mona Taylor of Creedmoor NC, Theresa Taylor of Bluefield WV, and Curtis Taylor (Crystal) of Tuscaloosa AL, grandchildren; Misti Bailey, Josh Faw, Candace Hearld, Summer Carter, Cameron Brewer, Ashlee Burgess, Gabby Brown, Darcy Taylor, Nick Taylor, and Kyle Reed, and 13 great-grandchildren siblings, Charles Morris, Gaynell Polly, Mary Fugate, and Glennis Morris, along with special friends, Beth Akers, Ruby East, Wanda Mullins, and all her gaming buddies.

Betty will be known for her independent and generous character. She loved to have family gatherings, travel, visit friends and family, and play keno.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedisys hospice care team for their time, care and compassion toward the Taylor family.
