Betty Silvers

Betty Johnson Silvers, 89, of Red Oak Ridge Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Maples Nursing Home.

Born on March 29, 1932 in Princeton, WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Boyd Silvers; sister, Opal Lyerly; grandson in law, John Little; and a great granddaughter, Destiny Silvers.

Survivors include her sons, Robert (Karen) Slivers of Bluefield, WV, Danny (Karen) Silvers of Sioux Falls, SD; and a daughter,  Tina (Terry) McGuire of Pomeroy, OH; grandchildren, Celina Little of High Point, NC, Jessica Sheets of Gallipolis, OH, and Stacy (Ron) McMahel of Seattle, WA; 6 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; sister, Shelby Brandenburg of Greenville, TN; sister in law, Lucill Daniel of Roderfield, WV, former daughter in law, Renee Silvers of Gallipolis, OH, and special caregiver, Sabrina Poore, of Bluefield, WV.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with Rev. James Milam officiating.

Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery at the service time.
