Betty Charlene Forrest

Betty Charlene (Davis) Forrest, 66, of Anawalt, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. She lived in O'Toole, WV, with her beloved husband Kenneth Ray Forrest for 48 years.

Born on September 26, 1957 in Welch, WV, she was a daughter of the late Eddie and Mildred Farmer Davis. She was a member and deacon of the Leckie Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served faithfully for many years. Her greatest joy was making memories with her four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her humble heart and joyous laughter will be greatly missed. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Kenneth Ray Forrest of O'Toole, WV, and children, Michelle Lambert and husband Buck of Abbs Valley, VA, and Joseph Ray Forrest and wife Christie of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Kenzie Faith Horn and husband Austin, Mason Ray Forrest, Madison Lynn Forrest, and Nathaniel Blake Lambert; and Charlene’s sister (Patricia) Alene Johnson of Chilihowie, VA; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV, with Pastor Mary Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV, where Joseph Forrest, Mason Forrest, Buck Lambert, Nathaniel Lambert, Austin Horn and Brooks Dover will serve as pallbearers, 

Friends may call prior to services on Saturday, from 1:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home.
