Betty Jean Dillon

Betty Jean Dillion, 89, of Lithia, Florida, formerly of Parma, Ohio, born on June 25, 1934, in Charleston, West Virginia, entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2023, surrounded by her family. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed reading, game shows, and making desserts. She retired from General Electric.

She was preceded in death by husband; Clayton Edward Dillion, a daughter; Karen Dillion, parents; Alfonso and Hatta Mae Blevins; three sisters; Faye, Helen, and Edith; and two brothers; Burton and Bruce.

She is survived by a daughter; Annette Frederick (Andrew) of Fishhawk; grandchildren; Thomas Frederick (Vince Boston) and Kaitlyn Hull (Dakota); great-grandchildren., Evie, Everly, and Emmy; grand-dog, Dusty; her life-long best friend and retired coworker from General Electric, Cassie; and many other extended family and friends.

She was a loving, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services, from 9:00-10:00 AM on Saturday.
