Betty Ann Carter, 85, of Alderson, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Stonerise of Lindside.
Born on December 26, 1937 in Welch, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Mullins and Mary Ann Green Carter. She attended the River of Life Church of God and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Earl Carter, Sr.; a son, Charlie Carter; a grandson, Charlie Carter, Jr.; brothers, Andy Mullins, Roy Carter, Leonard Carter, and Joe Carter, and a sister, Liz Carter Creech.
Survivors include sons, Harold Eugene Carter of Dublin, VA and Anthony M. (Lisa) Carter of Alderson, WV; a daughter, Debbie (Roger) Dean of Ormond Beach, FL; a brother, Charles (Sherry) Carter of Roderfield, WV, grandchildren, Erick (Amanda) Carter, Tiffany (Justin) Creech, Brian (Elisha) Carter, Brandon (Cheyenne) Carter, Leah (Bob) Davis, Jeremy (Kamry) Dean, Misty (Aaron) Stevens, Paula (Chris) Stinson and Heather (Sean) Barber; great grandchildren, Raelee Carter, Delaney Creech, Cooper Creech, Aliyah Carter, Addison Carter, Emersyn Carter, Brooke Davis, Berkley Davis, Tucker Dean, Trace Dean, Grace Stevens, Ethan Stinson, Gavin Stinson, Brianna Carter, Hailey Barber, Aaron Barber; and Chloe Carter; and a great-great grandson, Brian Nicholas Thompson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with her son, Pastor Anthony Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call prior to services on Friday, from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home.
