Barbara Faith Gregory

Barbara Faith Gregory, 77, of Bluewell, WV passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at home.

She was born in Princeton, WV, on September 25, 1948, to the late Blanche and Coy McKinney. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Harry and Irene Gregory.

Barbara graduated from Matoaka High School in 1966 and Bluefield State College.

In 1968, Barbara married the love of her life, Harry Gregory, II, and they began their journey together, built on a foundation of love, trust, and adventure. Together they raised two sons while creating a warm, welcoming home that became the neighborhood gathering place. She was a fantastic wife and mother. Barbara’s love and dedication to her family were evident in the warm, welcoming home she created.

On September 29, 2025, Barbara’s world changed forever with the death of her beloved Harry.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Scott Gregory (Penny) of Alum Creek, WV, Christopher Shawn Gregory (Vicky) of Newton, NC; brother, David McKinney and wife, Marilyn of Bluewell, WV; sister-in-law Sandra Ball and husband, Gene of Bluewell, WV, sister-in-law Charlotte Cornwell and husband, Jim, of Richmond, VA; brother-in-law Rick Gregory and wife, Joann of Shady Springs, WV; and other extended family and friends all of whom she adored.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, Bluewell, WV. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, she will be cremated following the visitation. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Gregory family.
