Ashley Dawn Price

Ashley Dawn Price, 37, of Bluefield, WV went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Born October 27, 1983, she is the daughter of Darrell Wayne Price and the late Melissa Faye Price. She was a life-long resident of the Bluefield area, and a graduate of Tazewell High School. Ashley was a precious young lady who loved to sing praises to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She never knew a stranger, and would introduce herself to anyone around her. She loved everyone with her whole heart, and it was impossible not to love her immediately. She and her 3 sisters were very close and she would always say to each of them, “You’re the best sister in the whole world.” Her love, light, infectious laugh, and amazing hugs will forever be etched on the hearts of all who knew her. In addition to her mother, Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clinton Edward and Frances Katherine Witt, and paternal grandparents, James Henry and Myrtle Maxine Price.

Those left to cherish Ashley’s memory are her father, Darrell Price and stepmom, Patty Price; sisters, Kimberly (Jason) Thompson, Amber (IV) Sudduth, and Katherine Price; niece, Brianna; nephews, Tyler, Greyson, and Jaxon; and very special aunt and caregiver, Patty Pendleton. Along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Reginald Blackwood and Rev. Shawn Murnahan officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Price family. Family requests that everyone please wear a mask.
