Anthony Dan Kennedy

Anthony Dan Kennedy, 63, of Paynesville, WV, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. 

Born on November 15, 1961 in Welch, he was a son of Corina Mullins Payne of Paynesville, WV and the late Elmo Kennedy. He worked in construction and was also a mechanic. 

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Jennifer Cline Kennedy of the home, his son, Anthony Kennedy, Jr.  and his wife Erin Kennedy of Tazewell, VA; a daughter and her husband, Raven  and Chase Nicholson of Raysal, WV; and three sisters, Vanessa Miller of Harriman, TN, Treese Payne of Harriman, TN; and Tonya Barker of Paynesville, WV. 

The wake will be held Monday, June 16th at Summit Missionary Baptist Church in Paynesville WV. Family to come at 5:00 pm and friends are welcome after 6:00. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Summit Missionary Baptist Church with Pastors Larry Gene Addair and Daryl Barker officiating. Burial will follow at the Everett Mullins Cemetery in Paynesville, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
