Alisha Starr Ratliff, 42, of Kannapolis, NC and formerly of Bluewell, passed away on July 23, 2021 from a short illness.
She attended Bluefield High School and received her medical assistant degree from National College of Business and Technology in Princeton in 2011. Alisha was a a diehard Prince fan, Everything Prince and finally made the trip to Paisley Park in Minnesota to tour his home. She was ecstatic and talked of that experience often. She was beautiful, kind, humorous, funny, a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend.
She was preceded in death by by her maternal grandparents, James and Frances Lunsford and paternal grandmother, Ruth Parks.
Left to cherish her memory are are her parents, Donna Lunsford Ratliff and Claude Ratliff; son, Tresean Ratliff who was her world; brother, Claude Ratliff, Jr. and wife Tracey; all of Kannapolis, NC; best friend, Julie Miller of Elkins, NC; many aunts, uncles, and cousins who were like brothers and sisters. She is also survived by nieces, Bella Ratliff, Raven Brady, and Halley Brady.
One aunt she was particularly close to and never got over loosing was Tammy Bell.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Friday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
