Albert Lee Evans

Albert (Abb) Evans 98, of Bluefield WV passed away March 3, 2022, surrounded by his wife and daughter.  He fought a good fight; he finished his course, and he kept the faith.  He was a member of the Deliverance Temple Church. 

He was born in Sandy Branch, WV and was the son of Fred and Susie Evans.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Stevie and daughter Lisa Evans, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Jane of 57 years and daughter Shelia and Mike Gallagher of Philadelphia, PA.  He will be missed by his loved ones and friends, but we rejoice in knowing “to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.” 

Funeral services will be conducted at Deliverance Temple Church at 2pm on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, with Pastor David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens where family and friends will be pallbearers.  Visitation will begin at 1pm prior to the funeral.
