Carol Elizabeth Gillenwater

Carol Elizabeth Gillenwater, 56, of Country Village Street, Kegley, WV, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division. Born on October 21, 1959 in NC, she was a daughter of the late William and Evelyn Walton Cable. She had been a resident for Kegley for 20 years and attended the Kegley Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Cable. Survivors include: a son, Harley Gillenwater of NC; daughters, Brooke Gillenwater of Kegley, and Crystal Gillenwater of TN; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Billy and Allen Cable, both of NC; and a sister, Alice Cable of NC. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Rick Setser officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
