Pierce Hill

Pierce “Wayne” Hill, 79, of Strawberry Loop, Princeton, WV, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at GlenWood Park Retirement Village. Born on October 20, 1936 in Crystal, he was a son of the late Wiley Severt and Ruby “Pearl” Taylor Hill. He had been a resident of Princeton for 8 years and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired tile setter for 40 years. Survivors include: Wife of 54 years: Linda Jones Hill of the home Daughter: Connie Dillon of Chesapeake, VA 3 grandchildren: Brandi Dillon, Christopher “Wayne” Dillon, Kimberly Edwards Brother: Everett “Junior” Hill of Suffolk, VA Special cousin: Mike Taylor of Montcalm Special friend: Brian White of Chesapeake, VA 3 nephews Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Princeton with Ministers Ronnie and Gene Kennett officiating.
