Carolyn Louise Walker

Carolyn Louise Halcomb Walker, 65, of Cooper Street, Bramwell, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on February 25, 1950 in Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Virginia Roberts Halcomb. She had been a resident of Bramwell for 16 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Doug Denney. Survivors include: Spouse: Russell Walker of the home Sons: Daniel Walker and wife Jenny of Kettering, OH R. Keith Walker of Lashmeet D. Kenny Walker and wife Colleen of Beavercreek, OH D. Scott Walker of Bramwell Sisters-in-Laws: Shirley Gibson and Randy of Bramwell Daisy (Susie) Walker and Roy of Bluefield Emma Jean Fitzko of Walnut Cove, NC 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
