Geneva Faye Smith Walker Fields, age 78, 901 Stafford Drive, Apt. 208, Princeton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at a Princeton hospital. Born on March 10, 1933 in Logan County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Messinger and Sappho Smith. She had been a resident of Princeton for 5 years and formerly lived in Bramwell. She had worked in nursing homes and was a retired caregiver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Edward Walker; a daughter, Shirley “Vonnie” Stapleton; a grandson, Michael Stapleton; and a granddaughter, Tonya Stapleton. Survivors include: Son: Audie Edward walker of Falls Mills, VA Daughters: Ruth “Sissy” Fitzko Kelly of Bluefield Linda Billips and husband Clayton of Mudfork Adopted daughter: Debbie Shrewsbury of Montcalm Special grandson: Harold Gene Witham, Jr. of Kegley Grandchildren: Jody, Curtis, Matthew, Clayton, Jr., Danny, Dennis, Dana, Amanda, Justin, Richard 17 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild 2 sisters: Nola Lusher of Huntington Lorene Cline of CA Friends may call on Saturday from 2-4PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
