Gracie Compton

Gracie E. Compton, age 79, of Route 3 Box 577, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at a Beckley nursing home.   Born on February 3, 1932 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Duffie Bonds Compton. She had been a resident of Bluefield for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker.   On addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers.   Surviving is her sister, Margaret Cochran of Bluefield   Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Rev.
