Donnelly L. (Lee) Snow, 79, of Augusta St. Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, April 03, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia.
Lee was born on March 29, 1931 in Mohegan, West Virginia to the late Charles F. and Lillie Mae Mahaffey Snow. He had been a resident of Bluefield, West Virginia since 1974; he was retired from the US Postal Service after 33 years of service and served his country with the US Air Force in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Snow was a member of the American Legion, Following Footsteps Quartet and was a Sunday school teacher and choir director at the Cumberland Road Church of God in Bluefield, West Virginia. He ministered through music to local nursing homes along with his wife Delores and longtime friend Cecil Surratt. He also assisted with the building of the YakkityYak playground at the Bluefield City Park.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Arville, Otis and Charles Snow.

Seven grandchildren Christopher Surratt, Amanda Snow, Jonathan Surratt, Matthew Snow,
Elya Snow, Kristen Surratt and Bethany Surratt
Three great grandchildren Skyler, Chloe and Allyson
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 06, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cumberland Road Church of God in Bluefield, West Virginia where the Rev. Danny Scott, Rev. Michael York and Rev. Jim Coe, Sr. will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia where the West Virginia Honor Guard will hold military graveside rites. .
Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia on Monday, April 05, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
