Irene Harrell

Irene Harrell, age 85, of 214 School Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at a Bluefield hospital. Born on October 28, 1924 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Alva R. and Nora Lee Thompson Stewart. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a member of the Brushfork Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Beaver High School and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Harrell; a sister, Mary Ann Burton; a brother, James Stewart; and two grandsons, Nathan Harrell and Lance Balthis. Survivors include: Son: Edward Franklin Harrell and wife Connie of Bluefield Daughter: Connie Sue Kuzma and husband David of Panama City, FL 1 grandson: Dale Murray, Jr. and wife Nikki of Bluefield 2 Great Grandsons: Michael Crews and Michael Murray of Bluefield, WV 2 great granddaughters: Kaitlyn and Salina Balthis of Panama City, FL 2 brothers: Raymond Stewart and Deloris of Ft. Worth, TX Jack Stewart and Shirley of Germantown, OH Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 3:30PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Jim Drake officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call on Friday from 2:00-3:30PM at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Bradley, Mikie Bradley, Cory Bradley, Joe Burton, Dickie Bailey and Willie Foran
