O ur current location was built in 1962 by C.C. Cravens who relocated his funeral home from Montcalm to Bluewell. In August of 1967, Jimmie and Margaret Shires purchased the firm from Mr. Cravens. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, in its early days provided an additional ambulance service as did many funeral homes in the area. In time, this service subsided and now we focus all of our attention on providing excellent service to the families who place their trust in us.
